Ingredients for Green Chana Chaat Recipe

  • Green chickpeas (hare chane) boiled 1 1/2 cups

  • Medium tomato finely chopped 1

  • Medium onion finely chopped 1

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Black pepper powder to taste

  • Chaat masala 1 teaspoon

  • Green chillies chopped 1-2

  • Masala chana dal 2-3 tablespoons

  • Sev 3 tablespoons

  • Puffed rice (murmura) 1/2 cup

  • Lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespo to garnish

Method

Step 1

Take green chickpeas in a bowl, add tomato, onion, chilli powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala, green chillies, masala chana dal, 1 tbsp sev, puffed rice, lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 2

Add remaining sev and mix well. Transfer into a serving plate, garnish with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
