Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light green chillies ,roughly chopped
  • 3 tablespoons gram Flour
  • 1/4 cup dark green chillies
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 3 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger 
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic 
  • 1/2 cup soya granules, soaked
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
  • Thin strips of ginger for garnishing

Method

  1. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add onions and sauté till translucent. Add ginger and garlic and sauté further for a minute.
  2. Add light green chillies and mix well. Add dark green chillies and mix well. Add drained soya granules and mix well. Add turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add remaining oil and gram flour and mix well. Add dried mango powder and mix well. Cover and cook on high heat till the gram flour is lightly browned.
  4. Transfer onto a serving plate, garnish with ginger strips and serve immediately.
