Ingredients for Gulgulay Recipe

  • Refined Flour 4 tablespoons

  • Ripe Bananas 2 small

  • Sugar 5-6 tablespoons

  • Salt a pinch

  • Green cardamom powder 1 teaspoon

  • Saffron (kesar) a few strands

  • Fennel seeds (saunf) 1 tablespoons

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Ghee to shallow fry

  • Condensed milk to serve

  • Almonds sliced to serve

  • Pistachios sliced to grease


Step 1

Blend together refined flour, atta, sugar, salt, green cardamom powder, fennel seeds, milk and one banana to a smooth thick batter.

Step 2

Chop the remaining banana and add it to the batter.

Step 3

Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Pour a ladle full batter in a pan and cook on medium flame till both sides get cooked.

Step 4

Spread some condensed milk in a serving plate.

Step 5

Put the gulgulay's on the plate and then again pour some condensed milk on top of it and serve garnished with almonds and pistachios.
