Ingredients list for Hare Pyaaz ki Sabzi - SK Khazana

  • 4-6 Spring onion with greens
  • 2 tablespoons OIl
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 cup Gram flour (Besan)
  • to serve Rotis

Method

  1. Chop spring onions and the greens.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida and the spring onions, mix and saute for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Add 1 cup water and mix and let the mixture come to a boil. Add gram flour and mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 minutes. Take the pan off the heat.
  5. Serve hot with rotis.
