By Sanjeev Kapoor 22 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Cooked rice, Tamarind pulp Cuisine Indian,Hyderabadi Course Rice Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Imli Tilwale Chawal - SK Khazana 3 cups Cooked rice 2 tablespoons Tamarind pulp 2 tablespoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal) 1/2 teaspoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal) a pinch Asafoetida Method Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add mustard seeds, split Bengal gram, , split black gram, and saute till the colour of the grams change. Add asafoetida, curry leaves, broken dried red chillies and green chilli and mix well. Add tamarind pulp and 2-3 tbsps water and mix well. Add salt, turmeric powder, roasted peanuts, sesame seeds and rice and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
