By Sanjeev Kapoor 07 Aug 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Semolina (rawa/suji), Green capsicum Cuisine Gujarati Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 3 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Instant Rava Dhokla 1 1/2 cups Semolina (rawa/suji) 1/4 cup Green capsicum chopped 2 tablespoons Corn kernels 1 teaspoon Ginger-green chilli paste 1/4 cup Butter to taste Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons Fruit salt 1 tablespoon Oil 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon Sesame seeds (til) a pinch Asafoetida Method In a bowl mix together, semolina, green capsicum, sweet corn, ginger chilli paste, butter, salt and 2 tablespoons water. Mix well. Heat sufficient water in a steamer and just before steaming the batter add fruit salt and two tablespoons water. Mix well. Pour a ladleful of the batter in a greased thali and steam for ten to fifteen minutes or till done.Heat the remaining oil in a non stick pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and asafetida.
