Ingredients list for Jain Fried Rice

  • 3 cups Rice
  • 1 medium Green capsicum chopped
  • 10-15 French beans stringed and chopped
  • 1 medium Yellow capsicum chopped
  • 1 medium Red capsicum chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 small Cabbage shredded
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (soonth)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Chilli sauce

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add French beans and sauté for two minutes.
  2. Add all the three capsicums, mix well and continue to sauté. Add cabbage, mix well and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add salt, dried ginger powder and sugar. Mix well and cook for two minutes.
  4. Add soy sauce and chilli sauce. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  5. Add rice, mix well and cook for two to three minutes. Serve hot.
