Ingredients list for Khajur Dryfruit ki Barfi
- 1/3 cup Pistachios chopped
- 1/3 cup Almonds chopped
- 1 cup Seedless black dates finely chopped
- Ghee 1 tablespoon + ½ teaspoon for greasing
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add pistachios and almonds and sauté till they become golden brown in colour.
- Add dates andquarter cup water and continue to cook till they become soft.
- Add green cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from heat.
- Grease the barfi tray with ghee and spread the mixture evenly in it.
- Allow it to set for thirty minutes and then cut into equal squares.
- Arrange them on a serving plate and serve at room temperature.
