Lasoon Batata

Ingredients 

  • 500 grams baby potatoes, boiled and peeled
  • 10-12 dried red chillies, seeded and soaked
  • 12 garlic cloves 
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil

Method

  1. Put red chillies and 10 garlic cloves in a mixer jar, add a little water and grind to a fine paste.
  2. Take potatoes in a large mixing bowl, add the ground paste and salt and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a non-stick wok. Add potatoes and saute for 2-3 minutes. Cover and cook till moisture dries up and potatoes become dark red.
  4. Slice 2 garlic cloves.
  5. Transfer potatoes into a serving dish, garnish with sliced garlic and serve hot.
