Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Lasooni Chilli Tangdi Recipe

  • Chicken 8

  • Hung yogurt chopped and fried 6 tablespoons

  • Lemon cut into wedges 1

  • FIRST MARINADE

  • Oil 2 teaspoon

  • Ginger-garlic paste 3 tablespoons

  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons

  • SECOND MARINADE

  • Hung yogurt 1 cup

  • Processed cheese grated 6 tablespoons

  • Green chillies chopped 6

  • Salt to taste

  • Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 3 teaspoons

  • Mustard oil smoked 2 teaspoons

Method

Step 1

Make light incisions on the chicken legs. Mix together two teaspoons oil, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice and rub the mixture over the chicken drumsticks and keep them for one hour in the refrigerator to marinate.

Step 2

For the second marinade, mix hung yogurt, cheese, fried garlic, green chillies, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and mustard oil in a bowl and rub it well over the chicken drumsticks. Set aside for two hours in the refrigerator to marinate.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Step 4

Place the chicken drumsticks in a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for twenty minutes. Turn the pieces over, drizzle a little oil over them and bake for five to eight minutes more.

Step 5

Serve hot with lemon wedges.
