By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Roasted vermicelli (sevaiyan), Sugar Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Meethe Sevaiyan 1 1/2 cups Roasted vermicelli (sevaiyan) 1/3 cup Sugar 1 1/2 cups Milk 2 tablespoons Ghee 1/4 cup Cashewnuts halved 1 tablespoon Almonds slivered 1 tablespoon Pistachios slivered 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder A pinch + to garnish Saffron strands Method Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add cashewnuts, almonds and pistachios and sauté on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Add vermicelli, mix and sauté for 5 minutes. Add milk, green cardamom powder and a pinch of saffron. Mix well, cover and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Add sugar and sprinkle some water, mix well, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or till done.
