Ingredients list for Mor Koolu
- 1 1/2 cups Rice soaked
- to taste Yogurt
- 3 cups Yogurt whisked
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 Dried red chilli broken
- 8-10 Curry leaves
Method
- Cook rice in three cups of water until the rice is cooked and water is absorbed.
- Allow the rice to cool a little bit.
- Add salt, yogurt, green chillies, onion and coriander leaves and mix well.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan and add mustard seeds.
- When they splutter, add red chilli and curry leaves. Sauté for few seconds and add this to the rice.
- Mix well and serve.
