Ingredients list for Muesli Chivda

  • 2 cups Muesli/Oats
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 12-16 Curry leaves
  • 2 Green chilli
  • 1/2 cup Raw peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons Cashewnuts halved
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black salt (kala namak)

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves and sauté.
  2. Slit, deseed green chillies and add, mix and sauté well. Add peanuts and cashewnuts, mix and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add muesli, mix and sauté for 1 minute. cinnamon powder, mix well and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add salt and black salt, mix and let it get heated through. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.
  5. Serve.
