Ingredients for Mutton Mushroom Recipe

  • Boneless Mutton cut into medium sized pieces 500 grams

  • Button Mushrooms halved 12-15

  • Medium onions 2

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Green chillies 4

  • Ginger chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 teaspoon

  • Large potato peeled 1

  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 2 teaspoons

  • Red chilli powder 3 teaspoons

  • Medium tomatoes finely chopped 2

  • Salt to taste

  • Garam masala powder 2 teaspoons

  • Whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Halve onions and slice.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add onions and saute.

Step 3

Roughly chop green chillies and add along with ginger and garlic, mix and sauté well.

Step 4

Add mutton, mix and cook on high heat.

Step 5

Dice the potato and add along with turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well.

Step 6

Add mushrooms, tomatoes and 2 cups water and mix well. Add salt and garam masala powder and mix well.

Step 7

Take wheat flour in a bowl. Add water as required and mix well into a smooth slurry. Add this to the cooker and mix well. Cover and pressure cook till 4-5 whistles are given out or till the mutton is fully done.

Step 8

Serve hot.
