Ingredients for Narangi Pulao Recipe

  • Orange Juice 1 1/2 cups

  • Basmati Rice 1/2 cup

  • Basmati rice soaked 1 1/2 cups

  • Pure ghee 1/4 cup

  • Cinnamon 2 inch stick

  • Green cardamom 3-4

  • Cloves 7-8

  • Saffron (kesar) 6-8 strands

  • Sugar 1/4 cup

Method

Step 1

Put the rice cooker on cook mode and heat ghee in it. Add cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves and sauté till fragrant.

Step 2

Add rice and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring lightly. Add orange juice and saffron and mix. Cover and cook till almost done. Add orange squash, ½ cup water and sugar and mix lightly. Cover and cook till done.

Step 3

Serve hot
