Ingredients list for Oats Khichdi without oil
- 2 cups Oats roasted
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 6 Black peppercorns
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 Green capsicum finely chopped
- 2 Babycorn sliced
- 3 tablespoons American corn kernels
- 1 small Carrot finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons Green peas
- 4-6 French beans finely chopped
- 3-4 Green chilli finely chopped
- 1 inch piece Ginger finely chopped
- 4-6 Curry leaves
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
- to taste Salt
Method
- Dry roast jeera and black peppercorn.
- Add five cups water, green capsicums, baby corns, American corns, carrots, green peas, french beans, onions, green chillies,ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and let it simmer till the vegetables are cooked.
- Add oats and salt and cook for another minute. Serve hot.
