Ingredients list for Onion Meatballs
- ½ cup Mutton mince (keema)
 - 3 medium Onions
 - to taste Salt
 - 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
 - to taste Crushed black peppercorns
 - 2 Fresh thyme
 - ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
 - ½ teaspoon Cumin powder
 - ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon powder
 - as required Bacon
 
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180° C.
 - Halve the onions and separate the layers. Make pairs of two similar sized onion layers and keep aside eight such pairs. Chop the remaining onions.
 - Mix together chopped onion, mutton mince, salt, garlic, crushed peppercorns, thyme, turmeric powder, cumin powder and cinnamon powder in a bowl. Divide the mixture into eight portions and stuff each portion into each pair of onion layers.
 - Wrap these with bacon strips and secure with toothpick.
 - Place the wrapped parcels on a baking tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for fifteen to twenty minutes.
 - Serve hot with barbeque sauce.
