Palak Ki Chutney Spicy chutney made with spinach leaves This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 31 May 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach, Onions Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Palak Ki Chutney 1 medium bunch Spinach 1 medium Onions 1 large Tomato 1 teaspoon Oil 1 tablespoon Split Bengal gram (chana dal) 1 tablespoon Split black gram skinless (dhuli urad dal) 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida 4 Dried red chillies,broken to taste Salt 2 Green chillies,broken 4 tablespoons Scraped coconut 2 teaspoons Tamarind pulp Method Roughly chop onion and tomato. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add chana dal, urad dal and sauté till light brown. Add asafoetida and red chillies and mix. Add onion and mix. Add tomato and mix again Tear spinach leaves and add. Toss to mix. Add salt and mix. Add green chillies and mix well and cook till spinach is soft. Add coconut and mix well. Add tamarind pulp and mix again. Switch off heat and set aside to cool. Grind to a fine paste.
