Ingredients for Pan Seared Mango Pomfret Recipe

  • Ripe Mangoes cut into cubes 1

  • Pomfret 2

  • Salt medium

  • Garlic 4-5 cloves

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 cup

  • Fresh mint leaves chopped 1 cup

  • Ginger chopped 1 inch piece

  • Rice flour 1/3 cup

  • Oil 2 teaspoons

Method

Step 1

Make a few slits on the fish on either sides, making sure that the fish is not cut through and rub salt all over.

Step 2

Grind together the mango, garlic, coriander leaves, mint leaves and ginger into a smooth paste with a little water.

Step 3

Apply the ground paste on both sides of the fish, ensuring that it goes inside the slits too.

Step 4

.Spread the flour on a plate and roll the fish in it so that it coats both sides.

Step 5

Heat oil in a non-stick grill pan.

Step 6

Place the fish on it and cook till both the sides are evenly done.

Step 7

Serve hot.
