Ingredients list for Pethe Jo Seero

  • 1 kilogram Red Pumpkin grated
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • a few strands Saffron (kesar) soaked in one tablespoon warm milk
  • 5 cups Milk
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 8-10 Almonds sliced

Method

  1. Squeeze out water from the grated pumpkin.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add the grated pumpkin and cook on medium heat till ghee starts separating.
  3. Add green cardamom powder, saffron and milk and cook till the milk dries up.
  4. Add sugar and cook till the sugar gets dissolved.
  5. Serve hot garnished with sliced almonds.
