Ingredients
- 6 red capsicums cut into thin strips
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mace powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
Method
- Heat vinegar in a non-stick pan. Add one teaspoon salt, half teaspoon mace powder and half teaspoon nutmeg powder and mix well.
- Place the red capsicums in a jar. Sprinkle the remaining salt, mace powder and nutmeg powder over it and mix well.
- Add boiling vinegar over it and mix well. Cover the jar when cold.
- Cover and keep it for two days before using it.
