Ingredients

  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies, stemmed and broken
  • 1 inch ginger, roughly chopped
  • ¾ cup rice flour
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Ghee for cooking
  • Coconut chutney for serving

Method

  1. Take a grinder jar, add potatoes, green chillies and ginger and grind to fine paste.
  2. Transfer in a bowl. Add rice flour, cumin seeds, salt and 3 cups water and mix well.
  3. Heat a nonstick tawa. Drizzle some ghee and spread a ladleful of batter. Drizzle some more ghee and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
