Ingredients list for Roti Upma

  • 6 Rotis
  • 1 large Tomato finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
  • 8-10 Curry leaves
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • for garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Grind the rotis in a grinder. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and when they crackle add ginger-garlic and chilli paste and curry leaves and saute for a minute.
  2. Add onions and saute till translucent. Add tomatoes and cook till it gets cooked. Add rotis, salt and lemon juice and then add coriander powder.Serve hot.
