Ingredients list for Saeb aur Badam ka Halwa
- 4 Apples (saeb) peeled and grated
- 1/2 cup Khoya / Mawa grated
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup Almonds blanched peeled and ground
- Slivered almonds Few blanched peeled for garnishing
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ground almonds and sauté for 10 minutes or till lightly browned.
- Add grated apples and cook on low heat stirring continuously.
- Add sugar and green cardamom powder and cook till sugar dissolves.
- Add khoya and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with almond slivers and serve.
