Ingredients list for Soya Sprout Vada

  • 1/2 cup Soya bean chunks soaked
  • 1/2 cup Moong sprouts
  • 1 small Onion roughly chopped
  • 1/2 inch piece Ginger
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 1 cup Dill leaves (suva)
  • 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 Green chilli chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 teaspoons Gram flour (besan)
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Blend together soya chunks, sprouts, onions, ginger, garlic, curry leaves, dill leaves, coriander leaves, green chillis, salt and mix well.
  2. Add besan and mix with a little water such that the mixture can easily made into balls.
  3. Heat oil in no stick kadai and deep fry the ball till golden brown.Serve hot with green chutney.
