Add garlic, onions, carrot, bay leaf and coconut and sauté for a couple of minutes. Add green chillies, tomatoes and salt and mix. Add vegetable stock and let it come to a boil. Cover and cook till soft. You can also cook this in a pressure cooker. Strain the stock and place the solids in a blender. Add a little stock and puree till smooth. Transfer into a deep pan and adjust consistency with the remaining stock. Add fresh cream and mix. Pour into individual soup bowls. Sprinkle black pepper powder and serve hot.
