Tadkewala Aloo ka Raita Tempered potato raita This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 27 Jul 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Yogurt Cuisine Punjabi Course Raitas Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Tadkewala Aloo ka Raita 2 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes 2 cups Yogurt whisked 2 tablespoons Oil a pinch Asafoetida 1 teaspoon Coriander seeds 3 Dried red chillies 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped for sprink Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp + for sprink Roasted cumin powder 1/4 tsp + to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur) 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds Method Advertisment Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add asafoetida, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, dried red chillies, green chillies and ginger and sauté for a minute. Add potatoes, mix well and sauté till the potatoes are lightly browned. Add ¼ tsp red chilli powder, ¼ tsp roasted cumin powder and salt and mix well. Add salt to the yogurt, mix and keep aside. Transfer the potato mixture into a serving bowl. Add dried mango powder, 1½ cups yogurt and mix well. Spread the remaining yogurt on top. Sprinkle red chilli powder and roasted cumin powder and serve chilled.
