Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup tomato chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
- A pinch asafoetida
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add the mustard powder, mustard seeds and asafoetida.
- Saute for a minute. Add the tomatoes and mix well. Cover and cook till soft. Add salt and mix. Allow the mixture to cool and store in air tight jars.
