Ingredients list for Tomato Egg Drop Soup

  • 250 grams Tomatoes blanched, peeled and chopped
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 2 Spring onions with greens finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Cornflour dissolved in 4 tablespoons water

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add spring onion, ginger-garlic paste and sauté for two minutes. Add four cups water.
  2. Once the water comes to a boil, add tomatoes and mix well.
  3. Add soy sauce, salt. Reduce flame and add egg slowly.
  4. Add corn flour mixture and stir well. Cook till thick.
  5. Serve hot.
