By Sanjeev Kapoor 01 Sep 2016 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Boneless chicken breasts, Almonds Cuisine Chinese Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Almond Crusted Chicken 2 Boneless chicken breasts 1½ cups Almonds chopped 2 teaspoons Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped to taste Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 1 Egg ½ tablespoon White wine vinegar for deep-frying Oil Method Slit chicken breasts horizontally and cut diagonally into medium size pieces. Transfer into a bowl. Add soy sauce, garlic, salt, crushed peppercorns, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, egg and vinegar and mix well. Set aside for 20-25 minutes. Spread the almonds on a plate and add remaining cornstarch, salt and crushed peppercorns. Mix well. Coat the marinated chicken with the almond mixture evenly. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the almond crusted chicken till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot garnished with spring onion greens and a lemon wedge.
