Ingredients list for Balsamic Garlic Grilled Mushroom Skewers-SK Khazan

  • 10-12 Button mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Mixed capsicum cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • for garnish Fresh coriander sprigs
  • to serve Onion rings
  • to serve Lemon slices

Method

  1. Mix together mixed capsicums, mushrooms, garlic, thyme, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce in a bowl. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Skewer the mushrooms and mixed capsicums alternately onto satay sticks.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick grill pam. Keep the skewers in the pan and grill, rotating the skewers, till grill marks appear on the mushrooms and capsicums.
  4. Garnish with coriander sprig and serve immediately with onion rings and lemon slices.
