By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Oct 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium prawns, Oul Cuisine Chinese Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Chinese Popcorn Prawns-SK Khazana 12-16 Medium prawns shelled, deveined and roughly chopped 1 tablespo to deep fry Oul 1 Egg white 2-3 tablespoons Cornflour to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1/2 cup Tomato ketchup 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli flakes 1/4 teaspoon Lemon zest grated 1/2 teaspoon Vinegar for garnish Spring onion greens sliced Method Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Put prawns in a bowl. Add egg white, cornflour and salt and mix well. Deep-fry prawns in hot oil till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger and garlic and sauté till fragrant. Add tomato ketchup, chilli flakes, lemon zest and some water and mix well. Add salt and vinegar, mix well and remove from heat. Transfer the sauce into a serving bowl.
