Take fish fingers in a bowl. Add garlic, red chilies, crushed peppercorns, salt, soy sauce and oyster sauce and mix. Add torn basil leaves and mix well. Coat marinated fish fingers with bread crumbs. Beat an egg in a shallow plate and dip coated fingers and coat again with bread crumbs. Deep-fry these fingers in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Place fried fingers on a serving platter, drizzle some oyster sauce on top and garnish with spring onion greens.
