Ingredients for Garlic Pepper Prawns Recipe

  • Garlic finely chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Black pepper powder deveined 1 teaspoon

  • Jumbo prawns 1/2 kilogram

  • Nutralite 100 grams

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Lemon juice 1

  • Spring onion greens 1 stalk

Method

Step 1

Heat Nutralite in a non-stick pan. Add 1 tbsp oil and let the Nutralite melt.

Step 2

Cut prawns lengthwise along with the shells.

Step 3

Heat extra virgin olive oil in another non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes till light golden.

Step 4

Add prawns and mix. Remove the scum from the Nutralite and pour the rest over the prawns. Add salt, black pepper powder and lemon juice and mix well.

Step 5

Cook prawns, turning sides, till evenly done.

Step 6

Place a spring onion green stalk on one side of a serving plate. Place the prawns by its side. Pour the masala remaining in the pan over them and serve hot.
