Ingredients list for Garlicky Paneer
- 400 grams Cottage Cheese cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 12 cloves Crushed Garlic crushed
- 3 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 3 medium Onions chopped
- 2 teaspoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 2-3 Green chillies slit
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup Cream
- 3-4 cloves Garlic fried
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, cumin seeds and onions and sauté for two minutes or till the mixture is lightly browned.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies and mix. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add salt and yogurt and mix well. When the mixture comes to a boil, add paneer cubes and mix gently.
- Add garam masala powder, lemon juice and mix lightly. Add cream and switch off the heat. Garnish with fried garlic and serve hot.
