By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Nov 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken legs, Salt Cuisine Hyderabadi Course Main Course Chicken Prep Time 31-40 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Hyderabadi Chicken - SK Khazana 750 grams Chicken legs to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/2 cup Yogurt 1 teaspoon Lemon juice 3 tablespoons White sesame seeds 1/2 cup Peanuts 2 tablespoons Oil 1 inch Cinnamon 3 Green cardamoms 1/2 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped 1 Medium onion sliced to garnish Fresh coriander leaves Method Take chicken in a bowl, add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, yogurt and lemon juice, mix well and set aside to marinate for 35-40 minutes. Heat a non-stick pan, add sesame seeds and peanuts and roast till light golden. Transfer into a blender jar, add 2-3 tablespoons water and blend into a smooth paste. Add a little more water if required. Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add cinnamon, cardamoms, garlic, ginger, mix well and sauté for a few seconds. Add onions, mix and sauté till the onions are lightly browned. Add sesame seeds-peanut paste, mix well and saute for 2 minutes. Add marinated chicken legs, mix well and saute for 2 minutes. Add salt and ½ cup water, mix well, cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or till the chicken is completely cooked.
