This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Feb 2017 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Finger millet (ragi / nachni) flour, Semolina (suji) Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Instant Ragi Uttapam 3/4 cup Finger millet (ragi / nachni) flour 1/2 cup Semolina (suji) 1 cup Yogurt 1 medium Onion finely chopped 1/2 medium Green capsicum finely chopped 1 inch Ginger finely chopped 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 10-12 Curry leaves 1 teaspoon Baking soda to taste Salt as required Oil Method Combine semolina and ¾ cup yogurt in a bowl and mix. Add finger millet flour, onion, capsicum, ginger, green chillies, cumin seeds and mustard seeds and mix well. Add remaining yogurt and mix. Add some water,mix well and set aside for 5 minutes. Heat a non-stick tawa. Add curry leaves, baking soda and salt to prepared flour mixture and mix well. Put some oil on hot tawaand wipe with a tissue. Pour a ladleful of prepared flourmixture, spread into a shape of uttapam and roast till the underside turnslight golden. Make incisions on each cooked uttapam and roast from the other side till golden and crisp. Cut into 4 equal pieces and serve hot.
