Papad Chaat

Ingredients 

  • 2 garlic papads
  • 2 urad dal papads
  • 2 Punjabi masala papads
  • 2 tablespoons raw mango chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • ½ small cucumber, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves, chopped + for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fried onions
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  • ½ teaspoon dry mango powder (amchur)
  • 1½ tablespoons ghee
  • Nylon sev for garnish

Method

  1. Roast garlic papads, urad dal papads and Punjabi masala papads on direct flame, one after the other, place them in a bowl and crush them.
  2. Add raw mango, tomato, onion, cucumber, green chillies, coriander leaves and fried onions, Red Chilli Powder, salt, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, dried mango powder and ghee and Mix well.
  3. Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with sev and coriander leaves and serve immediately.
