Ingredients list for Papdi Chaat

  • 20 Crisp Puris
  • 2 medium Potatoes thinly sliced, boiled
  • 1 large Onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Green chutney
  • 2 tablespoons Tamarind chutney
  • 1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Rock salt (sendha namak)
  • 4 tablespoons Sev
  • 1 tablespoon Boondi
  • 2 tablespoons Pomegranate pearls
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped

Method

  1. Arrange the papdi on a serving dish. Spread potatoes on it neatly, now spread onions on top.
  2. Add a dash of tamarind and green chutney on each papdi. Sprinkle lemon juice, roasted cumin powder and rock salt.
  3. Top up with sev, boondi, pomegranate pearls and coriander leaves and serve immediately.
