By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Apr 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Pickled Prawns Indian Style Main Ingredients Prawns, Garlic Cuisine Indian Course Pickles, Jams and Chutneys Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients 1 cup prawns, shelled and deveined 10-12 garlic 1 inch ginger 6-8 red birds eye chillies 2 tablespoons oil 1/2 medium onion cut into cubes 1/4 medium green capsicum chopped 1/4 small chinese cabbage 260 grams bhuna masala 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon brown sugar to taste salt 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves finely chopped Method Chop garlic, ginger and red bird’s eye chillies in a chopper and keep aside. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add chopped mixture and sauté till golden. Add onion and capsicum and sauté for a minute. Finely chop cabbage and add to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes Add bhuna masala, and sauté for a minute. Add soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, salt and prawns and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes or till the prawns are just done. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
