By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Jun 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cooked basmati rice, Ghee Cuisine Indian Course Rice Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Tadkewale Chawal - SK Khazana 3 cups Cooked basmati rice 2 tablespoons Ghee 12-15 Black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 2 medium Onions finely chopped 2 medium Tomatoes finely chopped 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder 1/2 cup Green peas boiled 2 tablespoons coriander leaves finely chopped to taste Salt for garnish coriander sprig Method Heat ghee in non-stick pan, add black peppercorns and cumin seeds and sauté till the cumin seeds start to change the colour. Add onions, mix and sauté on medium heat ill translucent. Add tomatoes, mix well and sauté till pulpy. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder, mix and sauté for a minute. Add rice, green peas, coriander leaves and salt and mix well. Sprinkle a little water, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
