Ingredients for Baked Beans Wrap Recipe

  • Baked beans 1½ cups

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) rotis 4

  • Onions 2 medium

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Green capsicum chopped 1 medium

  • Garlic cloves thinly sliced 5-6

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 3 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Tomato ketchup as required

  • Red chilli sauce as required

  • Iceberg lettuce leaves shredded a few

  • Cheese grated 4 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Finely chop one onion and slice the other.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add chopped onion, green capsicum and garlic and sauté.

Step 3

Add baked beans and sauté. Add coriander leaves and mix. Add salt and mix.

Step 4

Place rotis on the worktop. Spread a little tomato ketchup and red chilli sauce on each of them.

Step 5

Place some of baked beans mixture on one side of each roti. Sprinkle sliced onion, lettuce and grated cheese over the baked beans and roll the rotis.

Step 6

You can cut each roll into diagonal pieces and serve or wrap each roll in aluminium foil and serve.
