By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Oct 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tomato ketchup, Butter Cuisine American Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Barbecue Sauce 3/4 cup Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon Butter 1 tablespoon Garlic , finely chopped 3 teaspoons Red chilli paste 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce to taste Salt 2 teaspoons Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Onion powder 1 teaspoon Mustard powder to taste Black pepper powder 1 tablespoon Brown sugar 2-3 tablespoons Vinegar 1 Boneless chicken breast , with criss cross slits on one side Method Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, and sauté till raw smells disappear. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Add red chilli paste and Worcestershire sauce and mix well. When the mixture begins to boil, add salt, garlic powder, red chilli powder, onion powder, mustard powder and black pepper and mix well. Add brown sugar and ¼ cup water and mix well. When the mixture begins to boil, add vinegar, mix well and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer into a bowl. To use, place a chicken breast on a baking tray. Apply the barbeque sauce on both sides, keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes at 180° C.
