Ingredients list for Broad Beans With Chicken

  • 600 grams Boneless Chicken cubed 1 inch
  • 1/2 cup Broad Beans soaked Boiled
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mixed herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
  • to taste Salt
  • 3 medium Onions chopped
  • 10 cloves Garlic chopped
  • 2 medium Carrots cubed
  • 3 medium Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon White pepper powder
  • 2 Big Green chilli chopped

  1. Marinate the chicken cubes in one tablespoon of oil, mixed dried herbs, crushed red chillies and salt for about fifteen minutes.
  2. Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Add onions and sauté. Add garlic and continue to sauté till translucent. Add carrots and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, salt and continue to cook.
  3. Add sugar, white pepper powder, green chillies and continue to cook for another two to three minutes. Add chicken cubes, boiled broad beans and two cups of water.
  4. Mix and when the water comes to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat till done. Serve hot with Pidde (a kind of bread).
