By Sanjeev Kapoor 09 Mar 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Medium cabbage, Fresh coconut Cuisine Kerala Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cabbage Toran (Keto Friendly) - SK Khazana 1 Medium cabbage shredded 1/2 cup + to garnish Fresh coconut scraped 2 Green chillies 8-10 Curry leaves 2 inches Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon Coconut oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal) 2 Dried red chillies broken to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder Method Put coconut in a blender jar, add green chillies, 5-6 curry leaves and ginger and grind to a Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add split skinless black gram and red chillies, remaining curry leaves and ground mixture and mix well. Add cabbage and mix well. Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Add 1-2 tbsps of water, mix well, cover and cook for 5-6 minutes or till cabbage is done.
