Ingredients list for Chicken Pakoda - SK Khazana

  • 250 grams Boneless chicken breast cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Curry leaves shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf)
  • to taste Black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
  • 2 tablespoons Rice flour
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • to serve Green chutney

Method

  1. Put chicken strips in a bowl. Add green chillies, curry leaves, fennel seeds, crushed peppercorns, salt and ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
  2. Add refined flour and rice flour and mix well. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken strips till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Drizzle some green chutney and serve immediately.
