Ingredients list for Chicken Tawa Pulao

  • 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into cubes
  • 3 cups Cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 2 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 medium Tomatoes chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ½ teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon Pav bhaji masala
  • ½ teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 medium Green capsicum chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • for garnish coriander leaves chopped, 1 tablespoons +

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions and sauté till translucent.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté for a minute. Add tomatoes, mix and cook till it turns pulpy.
  3. Add chili powder, coriander powder, pav bhaji masala and cumin powder then mix well and cook till the oil separates from the masala.
  4. Add little water and mix. Add chicken and capsicum and mix. Add salt, mix and cook till the chicken is fully done.
  5. Add rice and toss. Add butter and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
