Ingredients list for Dhal powder
- 1 cup Split bengal gram
- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- 6 Dry red chilies
- 6 cloves Garlic
- a few Curry leaves
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add chana dal, red chillies, garlic and curry leaves and saute for few minutes.
- Remove and set aside to cool.
- Grind the mixture with salt to a fine powder. Store the powder in airtight containers
- Serve with steamed rice.
