Ingredients list for Five Spice Rice
- 2 cups Cooked rice
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
- 2 Spring onion greens sliced
- 1/3 cup Button mushrooms sliced
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add garlic and spring onion bulbs and sauté till golden brown.
- Add button mushrooms and sauté till they are tender.
- Add five spice powder, red chilli flakes, salt and sauté for a minute.
- Add the rice and dark soy sauce and toss to mix.
- Add the spring onion greens and mix and sauté for a minute. Serve hot.
