Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Cook time : 26-30 minutes

Ingredients for Green Chilli Chicken Recipe

  • Chicken 1 1/2 inch pieces 800 grams

  • Green chillies 1 cup

  • Green chillies 3

  • Onions 2 medium

  • Ginger 1 1/2 inches

  • Garlic 10 cloves

  • Fresh coriander leaves 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 3 tablespoons

  • Cumin seeds 3/4 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 2 teaspoons

  • Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Sauté for 2 minutes on high heat. Add marinated chicken and mix well.

Step 2

Add coriander powder, roasted cumin powder and garam masala powder and mix well.

Step 3

Cook on high heat for a minute. Then cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 4

Reduce heat and cook for about 15-20 minutes, adding water if required. Serve hot.

Step 5

Add salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Sauté for 2 minutes on high heat. Add marinated chicken and mix well.

Step 6

Add coriander powder, roasted cumin powder and garam masala powder and mix well.

Step 7

Cook on high heat for a minute. Then cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes.

Step 8

Reduce heat and cook for about 15-20 minutes, adding water if required. Serve hot.
